Parents’ Night Out / Kids’ Aikido Night

Enjoy some time away, bring the kids to the dojo to play!
Parents’ Night Out is 4 hours of Aikido, games, crafting, pizza, and a video. We order from Pizza SRQ which makes it easy to accommodate special diet needs. Due to the wonderful growth of our youth program, this event is for dojo members only (both monthly and drop-in students are welcome!)

It is not necessary to arrive right at 5:00 or stay till 9:00, however please notify me if you wish to drop off/pick up at an alternate time. For the safety of all who hang around our dojo during off hours, we lock the door.

A suggested donation of $20 per student or $30 per family is greatly appreciated.

Potluck Kyu Promotion

Join us for lunch and a demonstration of Aikido skills!

Colored Belts and Kyu Ranks will be awarded at a celebration following the demonstrations. Family and friends are welcome.

This event is for all Aikido students: adults and children.
Junior ranks will perform first, followed by more advanced students.
Any student may participate as uke in a kyu rank demonstration. Your participation supports your classmates and develops your skills.

To perform a Kyu Demonstration in this event, you must first confirm with your instructor that you have satisfied the minimum training requirements and learned the required skills.

Belt stripes may be earned by children/youth participating in this event without a minimum training requirement.

Please bring a food or drink to share. See signup in the dojo.

First Keiko 2018

Traditionally, we ring in the New Year with 100 bokken strikes.
Weather permitting, let’s meet at 10:00 am at Celery Fields, with bokken, picnic blankets, and snacks.
This event is open to anyone at any age. The dojo will provide extra bokken and light snacks.
